이사야 13장

 

13:1 다음은 아모스의 아들 이사야가 바빌론을 두고 받은 엄한 경고의 예언이다

( An oracle concerning Babylon that Isaiah son of Amoz saw:)

 

13:2 "너희는 벌거숭이가 된 산 위에 공격 신호 깃발을 세우고, 소리를 높여서 용사들을 소집하여라 바빌론의 존귀한 자들이 사는 문들로 그 용사들이 쳐들어가도록, 손을 들어 공격 신호를 보내라

( Raise a banner on a bare hilltop, shout to them; beckon to them to enter the gates of the nobles.)

 

13:3 나는 이미 내가 거룩히 구별한 사람들에게 명령을 내렸고, 나의 분노를 원수들에게 쏟아 놓으려고, 사기가 충천한 나의 용사들을 불렀다"

( I have commanded my holy ones; I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath--those who rejoice in my triumph.)

 

13:4 저 소리를 들어 보아라 산 위에서 웅성거리는 소리다 저 소리를 들어 보아라 무리가 떠드는 소리다 저 소리를 들어 보아라 나라들이 소리 치고 나라들이 모여서 떠드는 소리다 만군의 주님께서, 공격을 앞두고, 군대를 검열하실 것이다

( Listen, a noise on the mountains, like that of a great multitude! Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms, like nations massing together! The LORD Almighty is mustering an army for war.)

 

13:5 주님의 군대가 먼 나라에서 온다 하늘 끝 저 너머에서 온다 그들이 주님과 함께 그 진노의 무기로 온 땅을 멸하려 온다

( They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens--the LORD and the weapons of his wrath--to destroy the whole country.)

 

13:6 슬피 울어라! 주님께서 오실 날이 가깝다 전능하신 분께서 오시는 날, 파멸의 날이 곧 이른다

( Wail, for the day of the LORD is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty.)

 

13:7 날이 가까이 올수록, 사람들의 손이 축 늘어지고, 간담이 녹을 것이다

( Because of this, all hands will go limp, every man's heart will melt.)

 

13:8 그들이 공포에 사로잡히고 괴로워하고 아파하는 것이, 해산하는 여인이 몸부림 치듯 할 것이다 그들은 놀라 서로 쳐다보며, 공포에 질릴 것이다

( Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame.)

 

13:9 주님의 날이 온다 무자비한 날, 진노와 맹렬한 분노의 날, 땅을 황폐하게 하고 그 땅에서 죄인들을 멸절시키는, 주님의 날이 온다

( See, the day of the LORD is coming--a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger--to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it.)

 

13:10 하늘의 별들과 그 성좌들이 빛을 내지 못하며, 해가 떠도 어둡고, 달 또한 그 빛을 비치지 못할 것이다

( The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.)

 

13:11 "내가 세상의 악과 흉악한 자들의 악행을 벌하겠다 교만한 자들의 오만을 꺾어 놓고, 포학한 자들의 거만을 낮추어 놓겠다

( I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.)

 

13:12 내가 사람들의 수를 순금보다 희귀하게 만들고, 오빌의 금보다도 드물게 만들겠다

( I will make man scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir.)

 

13:13 하늘이 진동하고 땅이 흔들리게 하겠다" 만군의 주님께서 진노하시는 날에 그 분노가 맹렬히 불타는 날에 이 일이 이루어질 것이다

( Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger.)

 

13:14 바빌론에 사는 외국 사람들은 마치 쫓기는 노루와 같이, 모으는 이 없는 양 떼와 같이, 각기 제 민족에게로 돌아가고, 제 나라로 도망 칠 것이다

( Like a hunted gazelle, like sheep without a shepherd, each will return to his own people, each will flee to his native land.)

 

13:15 그러나 눈에 띄는 자마다 모두 창에 찔리고, 잡히는 자마다 모두 칼에 쓰러질 것이다

( Whoever is captured will be thrust through; all who are caught will fall by the sword.)

 

13:16 그들의 어린 아이들은 그들이 보는 데서 메어쳐져 갈기갈기 찢어지고, 그들의 집은 약탈을 당하며, 그들의 아내는 강제로 추행을 당할 것이다

( Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives ravished.)

 

13:17 "내가 메대 사람들을 불러다가 바빌론을 공격하게 하겠다 메대 군인들은 은 따위에는 관심도 없고, 금 같은 것도 좋아하지 않는다

( See, I will stir up against them the Medes, who do not care for silver and have no delight in gold.)

 

13:18 그들은 활로 젊은이들을 쏘아 갈기갈기 찢어 죽이며, 갓난아기를 가엾게 여기지 않고, 아이들을 불쌍히 여기지 않는다"

( Their bows will strike down the young men; they will have no mercy on infants nor will they look with compassion on children.)

 

13:19 나라들 가운데서 가장 찬란한 바빌론, 바빌로니아 사람의 영예요 자랑거리인 바빌론은, 하나님께서 멸망시키실 때에, 마치 소돔과 고모라처럼 될 것이다

( Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the glory of the Babylonians' pride, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah.)

 

13:20 그 곳에는 영원토록 사람이 살지 못하며, 오고오는 세대에도 사는 사람이 없을 것이다 떠돌아다니는 아랍 사람도 거기에는 장막을 치지 않으며, 목자들도 거기에서는 양 떼에게 풀을 뜯기지 않을 것이다

( She will never be inhabited or lived in through all generations; no Arab will pitch his tent there, no shepherd will rest his flocks there.)

 

13:21 거기에는 다만 들짐승들이나 뒹굴며, 사람이 살던 집에는 부르짖는 짐승들이 가득하며, 타조들이 거기에 깃들이며, 산양들이 그 폐허에서 뛰어 놀 것이다

( But desert creatures will lie there, jackals will fill her houses; there the owls will dwell, and there the wild goats will leap about.)

 

13:22 화려하던 궁전에서는 승냥이가 울부짖고, 화려하던 신전에서는 늑대가 울 것이다 그 때가 다가오고 있다 그 날은 절대로 연기되지 않는다

( Hyenas will howl in her strongholds, jackals in her luxurious palaces. Her time is at hand, and her days will not be prolonged.)

이사야 14장

 

14:1 주님께서 야곱을 불쌍하게 여기셔서, 이스라엘을 다시 한 번 선택하시고, 그들을 고향 땅에서 살게 하실 것이다 그 때에 외국 사람들도 그들에게 와서, 야곱의 겨레와 함께 살 것이다

( The LORD will have compassion on Jacob; once again he will choose Israel and will settle them in their own land. Aliens will join them and unite with the house of Jacob.)

 

14:2 여러 민족이 이스라엘 사람의 귀향을 도울 것이며, 이스라엘 백성은, 주님께서 주신 땅에서 외국 사람을 남종과 여종으로 부릴 것이다 이스라엘은 자기들을 사로잡았던 자들을 사로잡고, 자기들을 억누르던 자들을 다스릴 것이다

( Nations will take them and bring them to their own place. And the house of Israel will possess the nations as menservants and maidservants in the LORD'S land. They will make captives of their captors and rule over their oppressors.)

 

14:3 주님께서 너희에게서 고통과 불안을 없애 주시고, 강제노동에서 벗어나서 안식하게 하실 때에,

( On the day the LORD gives you relief from suffering and turmoil and cruel bondage,)

 

14:4 너희는 바빌론 왕을 조롱하는, 이런 노래를 부를 것이다 "웬일이냐, 폭군이 꼬꾸라지다니! 그의 분노가 그치다니!

( you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has come to an end! How his fury has ended!)

 

14:5 주님께서 악한 통치자의 권세를 꺾으셨구나 악한 통치자의 지팡이를 꺾으셨구나

( The LORD has broken the rod of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers,)

 

14:6 화를 내며 백성들을 억누르고, 또 억눌러 억압을 그칠 줄 모르더니, 정복한 민족들을 억압해도 막을 사람이 없더니,

( which in anger struck down peoples with unceasing blows, and in fury subdued nations with relentless aggression.)

 

14:7 마침내 온 세상이 안식과 평화를 누리게 되었구나 모두들 기뻐하며 노래부른다

( All the lands are at rest and at peace; they break into singing.)

 

14:8 향나무와 레바논의 백향목도 네가 망한 것을 보고 이르기를 '네가 엎어졌으니, 이제는 우리를 베러 올라올 자가 없겠구나' 하며 기뻐한다

( Even the pine trees and the cedars of Lebanon exult over you and say, "Now that you have been laid low, no woodsman comes to cut us down.")

 

14:9 땅 밑의 스올이, 네가 오는 것을 반겨 맞으려고 들떠 있고, 죽어서 거기에 잠든 세상 모든 통치자의 망령을 깨우며, 한때 세상을 주름잡던 그 왕들을 깨운다

( The grave below is all astir to meet you at your coming; it rouses the spirits of the departed to greet you--all those who were leaders in the world; it makes them rise from their thrones--all those who were kings over the nations.)

 

14:10 그 망령들이 너에게 한 마디씩 할 것이다 '너도 별 수 없이 우리처럼 무력해졌구나 우리와 똑같은 신세가 되었구나'

( They will all respond, they will say to you, "You also have become weak, as we are; you have become like us.")

 

14:11 너의 영화가 너의 거문고 소리와 함께 스올로 떨어졌으니, 구더기를 요로 깔고, 지렁이를 이불로 덮고 있구나!

( All your pomp has been brought down to the grave, along with the noise of your harps; maggots are spread out beneath you and worms cover you.)

 

14:12 웬일이냐, 너, 아침의 아들, 새벽별아, 네가 하늘에서 떨어지다니! 민족들을 짓밟아 맥도 못추게 하던 네가, 통나무처럼 찍혀서 땅바닥에 나뒹굴다니!

( How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!)

 

14:13 네가 평소에 늘 장담하더니 '내가 가장 높은 하늘로 올라가겠다 하나님의 별들보다 더 높은 곳에 나의 보좌를 두고, 저 멀리 북쪽 끝에 있는 산 위에, 신들이 모여 있는 그 산 위에 자리잡고 앉겠다

( You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.)

 

14:14 내가 저 구름 위에 올라가서, 가장 높으신 분과 같아지겠다' 하더니,

( I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.")

 

14:15 그렇게 말하던 네가 스올로, 땅 밑 구덩이에서도 맨 밑바닥으로 떨어졌구나

( But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit.)

 

14:16 너를 보는 사람마다, 한때 왕노릇하던 너를 두고 생각에 잠길 것이다 '이 자가 바로 세상을 뒤흔들고, 여러 나라들을 떨게 하며,

( Those who see you stare at you, they ponder your fate: "Is this the man who shook the earth and made kingdoms tremble,)

 

14:17 땅을 황폐하게 만들며, 성읍을 파괴하며, 사로잡힌 사람들을 제 나라로 돌려보내지 않던 그 자인가?' 할 것이다

( the man who made the world a desert, who overthrew its cities and would not let his captives go home?")

 

14:18 다른 나라의 왕들은 모두 화려한 무덤에 누워 있는데,

( All the kings of the nations lie in state, each in his own tomb.)

 

14:19 너는 무덤도 없이 오물처럼 버려져, 칼에 찔려 죽은 군인들의 시체 더미 밑에 깔려 있다가, 지하 세계의 밑바닥으로 내려갈 것이다 너의 시체를 사람들이 짓밟을 것이다

( But you are cast out of your tomb like a rejected branch; you are covered with the slain, with those pierced by the sword, those who descend to the stones of the pit. Like a corpse trampled underfoot,)

 

14:20 네가 너의 나라를 황폐하게 하고, 너의 백성을 죽였으니, 너는 왕들과 함께 묻히지 못할 것이다 너의 자손도 이 세상에서 살아 남지 못할 것이다

( you will not join them in burial, for you have destroyed your land and killed your people. The offspring of the wicked will never be mentioned again.)

 

14:21 사람들아, 조상들의 죄를 물어야 하니, 그 자손을 학살할 준비를 하여라 그들이 일어나 땅을 차지하지 못하도록 막아라 그들이 이 땅 위에 성읍의 기초를 놓지 못하도록 막아라"

( Prepare a place to slaughter his sons for the sins of their forefathers; they are not to rise to inherit the land and cover the earth with their cities.)

 

14:22 만군의 주님께서 말씀하신다 "내가 일어나 바빌론을 치겠다 내가 바빌론을 멸하겠다 그 명성도 없애고, 살아 남아서 바빌론의 이름을 이어갈 자도 하나도 남기지 않고 멸종시키겠다" 주님께서 하신 말씀이다

( "I will rise up against them," declares the LORD Almighty. "I will cut off from Babylon her name and survivors, her offspring and descendants," declares the LORD.)

 

14:23 "또 내가 그 도성 바빌론을 고슴도치의 거처가 되게 하고, 물웅덩이로 만들며, 멸망의 빗자루로 말끔히 쓸어 버리겠다 만군의 주님께서 하신 말씀이다"

( "I will turn her into a place for owls and into swampland; I will sweep her with the broom of destruction," declares the LORD Almighty.)

 

14:24 만군의 주님께서 맹세하여 말씀하신다 "내가 계획한 것을 그대로 실행하며, 내가 뜻한 것을 그대로 이루겠다

( The LORD Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.)

 

14:25 내가 나의 땅에서 앗시리아 사람들을 으스러뜨리고, 나의 산 위에서 그들을 밟아 버리겠다 그들이 나의 백성에게 메운 멍에를 내가 벗겨 주겠다" 그가 씌운 멍에가 그들에게서 벗겨지고 그가 지운 짐이 그들의 어깨에서 벗겨질 것이다

( I will crush the Assyrian in my land; on my mountains I will trample him down. His yoke will be taken from my people, and his burden removed from their shoulders.")

 

14:26 이것이 주님께서 온 세계를 보시고 세우신 계획이다 주님께서 모든 민족을 심판하시려고 팔을 펴셨다

( This is the plan determined for the whole world; this is the hand stretched out over all nations.)

 

14:27 만군의 주님께서 계획하셨는데, 누가 감히 그것을 못하게 하겠느냐? 심판하시려고 팔을 펴셨는데, 누가 그 팔을 막겠느냐?

( For the LORD Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?)

 

14:28 아하스 왕이 죽던 해에 주님께서 다음과 같은 경고의 말씀을 하셨다

( This oracle came in the year King Ahaz died:)

 

14:29 "모든 블레셋 사람들아, 너를 치던 몽둥이가 부러졌다고 기뻐하지 말아라 뱀이 죽은 자리에서 독사가 나오기도 하고, 그것이 낳은 알이, 날아다니는 불뱀이 되기도 한다

( Do not rejoice, all you Philistines, that the rod that struck you is broken; from the root of that snake will spring up a viper, its fruit will be a darting, venomous serpent.)

 

14:30 나의 땅에서는 가난한 사람들이 배불리 먹고, 불쌍한 사람들이 평안히 누워 쉴 것이다 그러나 내가 너희 블레셋 사람을 모조리 굶어 죽게 하고, 너희 가운데서 남은 자는 내가 칼에 죽게 하겠다"

( The poorest of the poor will find pasture, and the needy will lie down in safety. But your root I will destroy by famine; it will slay your survivors.)

 

14:31 성문아, 슬피 울어라! 성읍아, 울부짖어라! 너 블레셋아, 녹아 없어져라! 북쪽에서부터 강한 군대가 진군하여 올 것이니, 너희 군인 가운데서 그것을 피하여 벗어날 자가 없을 것이다

( Wail, O gate! Howl, O city! Melt away, all you Philistines! A cloud of smoke comes from the north, and there is not a straggler in its ranks.)

 

14:32 블레셋 특사들에게는 무엇이라고 답변할 것인가? '주님께서 시온을 세우셨으니, 고통당하던 그의 백성이 그리로 피한다' 하고 답변하여라

( What answer shall be given to the envoys of that nation? "The LORD has established Zion, and in her his afflicted people will find refuge.")

이사야 15장

 

15:1 이것은 모압을 두고 내리신 엄한 경고의 말씀이다 알이 망하는 그 밤에 모압이 망한다 길이 망하는 그 밤에 모압이 망한다

( An oracle concerning Moab: Ar in Moab is ruined, destroyed in a night! Kir in Moab is ruined, destroyed in a night!)

 

15:2 바잇과 디본 사람들이 산당에 올라가 통곡하고, 모압 사람들이 느보와 메드바의 멸망을 보고 통곡한다 모두 머리를 밀고, 수염을 깎는다

( Dibon goes up to its temple, to its high places to weep; Moab wails over Nebo and Medeba. Every head is shaved and every beard cut off.)

 

15:3 그들이 굵은 베로 허리를 동이고, 길거리에 나앉아 울고, 지붕 위에 올라가 통곡하며, 광장에서도 통곡하니, 볼에 눈물이 마를 날이 없다

( In the streets they wear sackcloth; on the roofs and in the public squares they all wail, prostrate with weeping.)

 

15:4 헤스본과 엘르알레에서 부르짖는 소리가 저 멀리 야하스에까지 들리니, 모압의 용사들이 두려워 떨며 넋을 잃는다

( Heshbon and Elealeh cry out, their voices are heard all the way to Jahaz. Therefore the armed men of Moab cry out, and their hearts are faint.)

 

15:5 가련한 모압아, 너를 보니, 나의 마음까지 아프구나 사람들이 저 멀리 소알과 에글랏슬리시야까지 도망 치고, 그들이 슬피 울면서 루힛 고개로 오르는 비탈길을 올라가고, 호로나임 길에서 소리 높여 통곡하니, 그들이 이렇게 망하는구나

( My heart cries out over Moab; her fugitives flee as far as Zoar, as far as Eglath Shelishiyah. They go up the way to Luhith, weeping as they go; on the road to Horonaim they lament their destruction.)

 

15:6 니므림 샘들이 말라서 메마른 땅으로 바뀌고, 풀이 시들고, 초목이 모조리 사라지고, 푸른 것이라고는 하나도 볼 수가 없구나

( The waters of Nimrim are dried up and the grass is withered; the vegetation is gone and nothing green is left.)

 

15:7 그러므로 그들이 남겨 놓은 것과 쌓아 놓은 재물을 가지고, 버드나무 개울을 건넌다

( So the wealth they have acquired and stored up they carry away over the Ravine of the Poplars.)

 

15:8 그 곡하는 소리가 모압 땅 사방에 울려 퍼지고, 그 슬피 우는 소리가 에글라임에까지 들리며, 그 울부짖는 소리가 브엘엘림에까지 이른다

( Their outcry echoes along the border of Moab; their wailing reaches as far as Eglaim, their lamentation as far as Beer Elim.)

 

15:9 디몬의 물이 피로 변하였다 "내가 또 다른 재앙 하나를 더 내리겠다 모압에서 도피한 자들과 그 땅의 남은 자들에게 사자를 보내어서, 그들을 찢게 하겠다"

( Dimon's waters are full of blood, but I will bring still more upon Dimon--a lion upon the fugitives of Moab and upon those who remain in the land.)

이사야 16장

 

16:1 모압 백성아, 예루살렘의 통치자에게 어린 양들을 조공으로 보내라 셀라에서 광야를 거쳐, 나의 딸 시온 산으로 조공을 보내라

( Send lambs as tribute to the ruler of the land, from Sela, across the desert, to the mount of the Daughter of Zion.)

 

16:2 있을 곳이 없어 날아다니는 새들처럼, 털린 둥지에서 흩어진 새끼 새들처럼, 모압의 여인들이 아르논의 나루터에서 헤맨다

( Like fluttering birds pushed from the nest, so are the women of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.)

 

16:3 그들이 유다 백성에게 애원한다 '우리가 어떻게 하여야 할지 말하여 주십시오 우리를 위하여 중재하여 주십시오 뜨거운 대낮에 시원한 그늘을 드리우는 나무처럼, 우리가 그대의 그늘에서 쉴 수 있도록 보호하여 주십시오 우리는 피난민입니다 아무도 우리를 해치지 못할 곳에 우리를 숨겨 주십시오

( "Give us counsel, render a decision. Make your shadow like night--at high noon. Hide the fugitives, do not betray the refugees.)

 

16:4 우리가 이 땅에서 살도록 허락하여 주십시오 우리를 죽이려고 하는 자들에게서 우리를 보호하여 주십시오' （폭력이 사라지고, 파괴가 그치고, 압제자들이 이 땅에서 자취를 감출 것이다

( Let the Moabite fugitives stay with you; be their shelter from the destroyer." The oppressor will come to an end, and destruction will cease; the aggressor will vanish from the land.)

 

16:5 다윗의 가문에서 왕이 나와 신실과 사랑으로 그 백성을 다스릴 것이다 옳은 일이면 지체하지 않고 하고, 정의가 이루어지는 것을 보여 줄 것이다）

( In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it--one from the house of David--one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness.)

 

16:6 유다 백성이 대답한다 '우리는 모압이 교만하다는 소문을 들었다 그들이 매우 교만하고 오만하고 거만하여 화를 잘 내지만, 사실 그들은 허풍뿐이라는 것도 들어서 알고 있다'

( We have heard of Moab's pride--her overweening pride and conceit, her pride and her insolence--but her boasts are empty.)

 

16:7 그러면 모압 백성은 그들이 당하는 고통을 못이겨서 통곡할 것이다 길하레셋에서 늘 먹던 건포도빵을 그리워하며, 슬피 울 것이다

( Therefore the Moabites wail, they wail together for Moab. Lament and grieve for the men of Kir Hareseth.)

 

16:8 헤스본의 밭과 십마의 포도원이 황무지가 되다니! 여러 나라의 군주들이 즐겨 마시던 포도주의 산지가 아니던가! 한때는 포도나무 가지가 저 멀리 야스엘에까지 뻗어 나가고, 동쪽으로는 광야에까지 퍼져 나가고, 서쪽으로는 그 싹이 자라서 사해 너머로까지 뻗어 가더니!

( The fields of Heshbon wither, the vines of Sibmah also. The rulers of the nations have trampled down the choicest vines, which once reached Jazer and spread toward the desert. Their shoots spread out and went as far as the sea.)

 

16:9 야스엘이 울듯이, 내가 통곡한다 말라 비틀어진 십마의 포도나무를 두고 통곡한다 헤스본아, 엘르알레야, 나의 눈물이 너를 적신다 여름 과일과 농작물을 거두는 너의 흥겨운 소리가 너에게서 그쳤구나

( So I weep, as Jazer weeps, for the vines of Sibmah. O Heshbon, O Elealeh, I drench you with tears! The shouts of joy over your ripened fruit and over your harvests have been stilled.)

 

16:10 "이제 기름진 밭에서 기쁨도 사라지고 즐거움도 사라졌다 포도원에서 노랫소리가 나지 않고, 기뻐 떠드는 소리도 나지 않고, 포도주틀에는 포도를 밟는 사람도 없다 내가 그 흥겨운 소리를 그치게 하였다"

( Joy and gladness are taken away from the orchards; no one sings or shouts in the vineyards; no one treads out wine at the presses, for I have put an end to the shouting.)

 

16:11 모압을 생각하니, 나의 심장이 수금 줄이 튀듯 떨리고, 길하레셋을 생각하니, 나의 창자가 뒤틀린다

( My heart laments for Moab like a harp, my inmost being for Kir Hareseth.)

 

16:12 모압 백성이 산당에 올라가서 제사를 드리고, 그 성소에 들어가서 기도해도, 아무 소용이 없을 것이다

16:13 이것이 전에 주님께서 모압을 두고 하신 말씀이다

( This is the word the LORD has already spoken concerning Moab.)

 

16:14 그러나 이제 주님께서 다시 이렇게 말씀하신다 "삼 년 기한으로 머슴살이를 하게 된 머슴이 그 햇수를 세듯이, 이제 내가 삼 년을 센다 삼 년 안에 모압의 영화가 그 큰 무리와 함께 모두 능욕을 당할 것이며, 남은 사람이라야 얼마 되지 않아, 보잘 것이 없을 것이다"

( But now the LORD says: "Within three years, as a servant bound by contract would count them, Moab's splendor and all her many people will be despised, and her survivors will be very few and feeble.")
