미가3-5: 회복의 예언

미가 3장

 

미가가 이스라엘 지도자들을 고발하다

 

3:1 그 때에 내가 말하였다 야곱의 우두머리들아, 이스라엘 집의 지도자들아, 내가 하는 말을 들어라 정의에 관심을 가져야 할 너희가,

( Then I said, "Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel. Should you not know justice,)

 

3:2 선한 것을 미워하고, 악한 것을 사랑한다 너희는 내 백성을 산 채로 그 가죽을 벗기고, 뼈에서 살을 뜯어낸다

( you who hate good and love evil; who tear the skin from my people and the flesh from their bones;)

 

3:3 너희는 내 백성을 잡아 먹는다 가죽을 벗기고, 뼈를 산산조각 바수고, 고기를 삶듯이, 내 백성을 가마솥에 넣고 삶는다

( who eat my people's flesh, strip off their skin and break their bones in pieces; who chop them up like meat for the pan, like flesh for the pot?")

 

3:4 살려 달라고 주님께 부르짖을 날이 그들에게 온다 그러나 주님께서 그들의 호소를 들은 체도 하지 않으실 것이다 그들이 그렇듯 악을 저질렀으니, 주님께서 그들의 기도를 들어주지 않으실 것이다

( Then they will cry out to the LORD, but he will not answer them. At that time he will hide his face from them because of the evil they have done.)

 

3:5 "예언자라는 자들이 나의 백성을 속이고 있다 입에 먹을 것을 물려 주면 평화를 외치고, 먹을 것을 주지 아니하면 전쟁이 다가온다고 협박한다

( This is what the LORD says: "As for the prophets who lead my people astray, if one feeds them, they proclaim 'peace'; if he does not, they prepare to wage war against him.)

 

3:6 예언자들아, 너희의 날이 끝났다 이미 날이 저물었다 내 백성을 곁길로 이끌었으니 너희가 다시는 환상을 못 볼 것이고 다시는 예언을 하지 못할 것이다"

( Therefore night will come over you, without visions, and darkness, without divination. The sun will set for the prophets, and the day will go dark for them.)

 

3:7 선견자들이 부끄러워하며, 술객들이 수치를 당할 것이다 하나님께서 응답하지 않으시니, 그들이 얼굴을 들지 못할 것이다

( The seers will be ashamed and the diviners disgraced. They will all cover their faces because there is no answer from God.")

 

3:8 그러나 나에게는, 주님께서 주님의 영과 능력을 채워 주시고, 정의감과 함께, 야곱에게 그의 죄를 꾸짖고 이스라엘에게 그의 범죄를 꾸짖을 용기를 주셨다

( But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, to Israel his sin.)

 

3:9 야곱 집의 지도자들아, 이스라엘 집의 지도자들아, 곧 정의를 미워하고, 올바른 것을 모두 그릇되게 하는 자들아, 나의 말을 들어라

( Hear this, you leaders of the house of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel, who despise justice and distort all that is right;)

 

3:10 너희는 백성을 죽이고서, 그 위에 시온을 세우고, 죄악으로 터를 닦고서, 그 위에 예루살렘을 세웠다

( who build Zion with bloodshed, and Jerusalem with wickedness.)

 

3:11 이 도성의 지도자들은 뇌물을 받고서야 다스리며, 제사장들은 삯을 받고서야 율법을 가르치며, 예언자들은 돈을 받고서야 계시를 밝힌다 그러면서도, 이런 자들은 하나같이 주님께서 자기들과 함께 계신다고 큰소리를 친다 '주님께서 우리와 함께 계시니, 우리에게 재앙이 닥치지 않는다'고 말한다

( Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets tell fortunes for money. Yet they lean upon the LORD and say, "Is not the LORD among us? No disaster will come upon us.")

 

3:12 그러므로 바로 너희 때문에 시온이 밭 갈듯 뒤엎어질 것이며, 예루살렘이 폐허더미가 되고, 성전이 서 있는 이 산은 수풀만이 무성한 언덕이 되고 말 것이다

( Therefore because of you, Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, the temple hill a mound overgrown with thickets.)

미가 4장

 

주의 통치로 이룰 우주적 평화

 

4:1 그 날이 오면, 주님의 성전이 서 있는 주님의 산이 산들 가운데서 가장 높이 솟아서, 모든 언덕을 아래로 내려다 보며, 우뚝 설 것이다 민족들이 구름처럼 그리로 몰려올 것이다

( In the last days the mountain of the LORD'S temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.)

 

4:2 민족마다 오면서 이르기를 "자, 가자 우리 모두 주님의 산으로 올라가자 야곱의 하나님이 계신 성전으로 어서 올라가자 주님께서 우리에게 주님의 길을 가르치실 것이니, 주님께서 가르치시는 길을 따르자" 할 것이다 율법이 시온에서 나오며, 주님의 말씀이 예루살렘에서 나온다

( Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.)

 

4:3 주님께서 민족들 사이의 분쟁을 판결하시고, 원근 각처에 있는 열강 사이의 갈등을 해결하실 것이니, 나라마다 칼을 쳐서 보습을 만들고 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들 것이며, 나라와 나라가 칼을 들고 서로를 치지 않을 것이며, 다시는 군사 훈련도 하지 않을 것이다

( He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.)

 

4:4 사람마다 자기 포도나무와 무화과나무 아래 앉아서, 평화롭게 살 것이다 사람마다 아무런 위협을 받지 않으면서 살 것이다 이것은 만군의 주님께서 약속하신 것이다

( Every man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the LORD Almighty has spoken.)

 

4:5 다른 모든 민족은 각기 자기 신들을 섬기고 순종할 것이다 그러나 우리는 언제까지나, 주 우리의 하나님만을 섬기고, 그분에게만 순종할 것이다

( All the nations may walk in the name of their gods; we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.)

 

이스라엘이 포로에서 돌아올 것이다

 

4:6 "나 주가 선언한다 그 날이 오면, 비틀거리며 사는 백성을 내가 다시 불러오고, 사로잡혀 가서 고생하던 나의 백성을 다시 불러모으겠다

( "In that day," declares the LORD, "I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief.)

 

4:7 그들이 이역만리 타향에서 비틀거리며 살고 있으나, 거기에서 살아 남은 백성이 강한 민족이 될 것이다 그 때로부터 영원토록, 나 주가 그들을 시온 산에서 다스리겠다

( I will make the lame a remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The LORD will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever.)

 

4:8 너 양 떼의 망대야, 도성 시온의 산아, 너의 이전 통치가 회복되고 도성 예루살렘의 왕권이 네게로 돌아올 것이다"

( As for you, O watchtower of the flock, O stronghold of the Daughter of Zion, the former dominion will be restored to you; kingship will come to the Daughter of Jerusalem.")

 

4:9 어찌하여 너는 그렇게 큰소리로 우느냐? 왕이 없기 때문이냐? 어찌하여 너는 아이를 낳는 여인처럼 진통하느냐? 자문관들이 죽었기 때문이냐?

( Why do you now cry aloud--have you no king? Has your counselor perished, that pain seizes you like that of a woman in labor?)

 

4:10 도성 시온아, 이제 네가 이 도성을 떠나서, 빈 들로 가서 살아야 할 것이니, 아이를 낳는 여인처럼, 몸부림치면서 신음하여라 너는 바빌론으로 가야 할 것이다 거기에서 주님께서 너를 건지시고, 너의 원수에게서 너를 속량하실 것이다

( Writhe in agony, O Daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the LORD will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.)

 

4:11 그러나 이제 많은 민족이 연합하여 너를 칠 것이다 그들은 이르기를 "시온은 망해야 한다 이제 곧 우리는 이 도성이 폐허가 되는 것을 보게 될 것이다" 한다

( But now many nations are gathered against you. They say, "Let her be defiled, let our eyes gloat over Zion!")

 

4:12 그러나 그들은, 나 주가 마음 속으로 무엇을 생각하고 있는지를 알지 못한다 한꺼번에 같은 방법으로 벌을 주려고, 곡식을 타작 마당으로 모아서 쌓듯이, 그들을 한데 모았다는 것을 미처 깨닫지 못한다

( But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD; they do not understand his plan, he who gathers them like sheaves to the threshing floor.)

 

4:13 도성 시온아, 네 원수에게 가서, 그들을 쳐라! 내가 네 뿔을 쇠 같게 하고, 네 굽을 놋쇠 같게 할 것이니, 너는 많은 민족을 짓밟고, 그들이 폭력을 써서 착취한 그 재물을 빼앗아다가, 온 세상의 주 곧 나에게 가져 올 것이다

( "Rise and thresh, O Daughter of Zion, for I will give you horns of iron; I will give you hoofs of bronze and you will break to pieces many nations." You will devote their ill-gotten gains to the LORD, their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.)

미가 5장

 

5:1 군대의 도성아, 군대를 모아라! 우리가 포위되었다! 침략군들이 몽둥이로 이스라엘의 통치자의 뺨을 칠 것이다

( Marshal your troops, O city of troops, for a siege is laid against us. They will strike Israel's ruler on the cheek with a rod.)

 

베들레헴에서 통치자가 나올 것이다

 

5:2 "그러나 너 베들레헴 에브라다야, 너는 유다의 여러 족속 가운데서 작은 족속이지만, 이스라엘을 다스릴 자가 네게서 내게로 나올 것이다 그의 기원은 아득한 옛날, 태초에까지 거슬러 올라간다"

( "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.")

 

5:3 그러므로 주님께서는 해산하는 여인이 아이를 낳을 때까지, 당신의 백성을 원수들에게 그대로 맡겨 두실 것이다 그 뒤에 그의 동포, 사로잡혀 가 있던 남은 백성이, 이스라엘 자손에게로 돌아올 것이다

( Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor gives birth and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites.)

 

5:4 그가 주님께서 주신 능력을 가지고, 그의 하나님이신 주님의 이름이 지닌 그 위엄을 의지하고 서서 그의 떼를 먹일 것이다 그러면 그의 위대함이 땅 끝까지 이를 것이므로, 그들은 안전하게 살아갈 수 있을 것이다

( He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth.)

 

구원과 심판

 

5:5 그리고 그는 그들에게 '평화'를 가져다 줄 것이다 앗시리아 사람이 우리 땅을 침략하여, 우리의 방어망을 뚫고 들어올 때에, 우리는 일곱 목자, 여덟 장군들을 보내서, 침략자들과 싸우게 할 것이다

( And he will be their peace. When the Assyrian invades our land and marches through our fortresses, we will raise against him seven shepherds, even eight leaders of men.)

 

5:6 그들은 칼로 앗시리아 땅을 정복하고, 뺀 칼로 니므롯 땅을 황무지로 만들 것이다 앗시리아의 군대가 우리의 땅을 침략하여, 우리의 국경선 너머로 들어올 때에 그가 우리를 앗시리아 군대의 손에서 구원하여 낼 것이다

( They will rule the land of Assyria with the sword, the land of Nimrod with drawn sword. He will deliver us from the Assyrian when he invades our land and marches into our borders.)

 

5:7 많은 민족들 사이에 살아 남은 야곱 백성은, 주님께서 내려 주시는 아침 이슬과 같이 될 것이며, 푸성귀 위에 내리는 비와도 같게 되어서, 사람을 의지하거나 인생을 기다리지 않을 것이다

( The remnant of Jacob will be in the midst of many peoples like dew from the LORD, like showers on the grass, which do not wait for man or linger for mankind.)

 

5:8 살아 남은 야곱 백성은 여러 민족과 백성 사이에 흩어져서 살 것이며, 숲 속 짐승들 가운데 서 있는 사자처럼, 양 떼의 한가운데 서 있는 사자처럼, 걸을 때마다, 먹이에게 달려들어 밟고 찢을 것이니, 그에게서는 아무도 그 짐승을 건져 낼 수 없을 것이다

( The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which mauls and mangles as it goes, and no one can rescue.)

 

5:9 네가 네 대적 위에 손을 들고 네 원수를 모두 파멸시키기를 바란다

( Your hand will be lifted up in triumph over your enemies, and all your foes will be destroyed.)

 

5:10 "나 주가 선언한다 그 날이 오면, 너희가 가진 군마를 없애 버리고 말이 끄는 병거를 부수어 버리겠다

( "In that day," declares the LORD, "I will destroy your horses from among you and demolish your chariots.)

 

5:11 너희 땅에 세운 성곽들을 부수어 버리고, 요새들은 모두 파괴하여 버리겠다

( I will destroy the cities of your land and tear down all your strongholds.)

 

5:12 너희가 쓰던 마법을 없앨 것이니, 너희가 다시는 점을 치지 않을 것이다

( I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.)

 

5:13 너희가 새긴 우상을 파괴하여 버리고, 신성하게 여긴 돌 기둥들도 부수어 버려서, 다시는 너희가 만든 그런 것들을 너희가 섬기지 못하게 하겠다

( I will destroy your carved images and your sacred stones from among you; you will no longer bow down to the work of your hands.)

 

5:14 너희 가운데서 아세라 여신상을 모두 뽑아 버리고, 너희가 사는 성읍들을 파괴하겠다

( I will uproot from among you your Asherah poles and demolish your cities.)

 

5:15 나에게 복종하지 않은 모든 민족에게, 화가 나는 대로, 분노를 참지 않고 보복하겠다"

( I will take vengeance in anger and wrath upon the nations that have not obeyed me.")
