에스겔 25장

 

암몬에 대한 심판 예언

 

25:1 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다

( The word of the LORD came to me:)

 

25:2 "사람아, 암몬 자손이 있는 쪽으로 얼굴을 돌리고, 그들을 규탄하는 예언을 하여라

( "Son of man, set your face against the Ammonites and prophesy against them.)

 

25:3 너는 암몬 자손에게 전하여라 '그들에게 나 주 하나님의 말을 들으라고 하여라 나 주 하나님이 말한다 내 성전이 더럽혀졌을 때에, 너는 그것을 보고 잘 되었다고 하였고, 이스라엘 땅이 황폐하게 되었을 때에, 너희는 그것을 보고도 잘 되었다고 하였고, 유다 백성이 포로로 잡혀 끌려갔을 때에도, 그들을 보고 잘 되었다고 소리쳤다

( Say to them, 'Hear the word of the Sovereign LORD. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because you said "Aha!" over my sanctuary when it was desecrated and over the land of Israel when it was laid waste and over the people of Judah when they went into exile,)

 

25:4 그러므로 내가 너를 동방 사람들의 소유로 넘겨 주겠다 그들이 네 땅에 들어와서 진을 치고, 네 땅 가운데 자기들이 살 장막을 칠 것이다 그들이 네 땅에서 나는 열매를 먹고, 네 땅에서 나는 젖을 마실 것이다

( therefore I am going to give you to the people of the East as a possession. They will set up their camps and pitch their tents among you; they will eat your fruit and drink your milk.)

 

25:5 내가 랍바를 낙타의 우리로 만들고, 암몬 족속이 사는 곳을 양 떼가 눕는 곳으로 만들겠다 그 때에야 너희가 비로소, 내가 주인 줄을 알게 될 것이다

( I will turn Rabbah into a pasture for camels and Ammon into a resting place for sheep. Then you will know that I am the LORD.)

 

25:6 나 주 하나님이 말한다 이스라엘 땅이 황폐해졌을 때에, 너는 이것을 고소하게 여겨, 손뼉을 치고 발을 구르며 좋아하였고, 경멸에 찬 마음으로 기뻐하였으므로,

( For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet, rejoicing with all the malice of your heart against the land of Israel,)

 

25:7 내가 내 손을 뻗쳐서 너를 치고, 네가 여러 민족에게 약탈을 당하도록 너를 넘겨 주겠다 내가 이렇게 너를 만민 가운데서 끊어 버리며, 여러 나라 가운데서 너를 망하게 하겠다 내가 너를 망하게 놓아 두겠다 그 때에야 너는 비로소, 내가 주인 줄 알 것이다'"

( therefore I will stretch out my hand against you and give you as plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the nations and exterminate you from the countries. I will destroy you, and you will know that I am the LORD.'")

 

모압에 대한 심판 예언

 

25:8 "나 주 하나님이 말한다 모압이 말하기를, 유다 족속도 모든 이방 백성이나 다름이 없다고 한다

( "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'Because Moab and Seir said, "Look, the house of Judah has become like all the other nations,")

 

25:9 그러므로 내가 모압의 국경지역에 있는 성읍들 곧 그 나라의 자랑인 벳여시못과 바알므온과 기랴다임이 적의 공격을 받도록 허용하겠다

( therefore I will expose the flank of Moab, beginning at its frontier towns--Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon and Kiriathaim--the glory of that land.)

 

25:10 나는 암몬 족속과 함께 모압도 동방 사람들의 소유로 넘겨 주어, 이방 백성 가운데서 암몬 족속이 다시는 기억되지 않게 하겠다

( I will give Moab along with the Ammonites to the people of the East as a possession, so that the Ammonites will not be remembered among the nations;)

 

25:11 이렇게 내가 모압을 심판하면, 그 때에야 그들이 비로소 내가 주인 줄 알 것이다"

( and I will inflict punishment on Moab. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'")

 

에돔에 대한 심판

 

25:12 "나 주 하나님이 말한다 에돔이 지나친 복수심을 품고 유다 족속을 괴롭히며, 그들에게 지나치게 보복함으로써 큰 죄를 지었다

( "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'Because Edom took revenge on the house of Judah and became very guilty by doing so,)

 

25:13 그러므로 나 주 하나님이 말한다 내가 손을 뻗쳐서 에돔을 치고, 그 땅에서 사람과 짐승을 없애 버리며, 그 땅을 데만에서부터 드단에 이르기까지 황무지로 만들어 버리겠고, 백성은 모두 전화를 입고 죽을 것이다

( therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will stretch out my hand against Edom and kill its men and their animals. I will lay it waste, and from Teman to Dedan they will fall by the sword.)

 

25:14 내가 내 백성 이스라엘의 손으로 에돔에게 원수를 갚겠다 그들이 내 노여움과 분노에 따라서 보복하면, 그 때에야 에돔이 비로소, 내가 보복하였음을 알 것이다 나 주 하나님의 말이다"

( I will take vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they will deal with Edom in accordance with my anger and my wrath; they will know my vengeance, declares the Sovereign LORD.'")

 

블레셋에 대한 심판 예언

 

25:15 "나 주 하나님이 말한다 블레셋 사람이 옛날부터 품어 온 원한으로 이스라엘을 멸망시키려고, 복수심에 불타서, 마음 속에 앙심을 품고, 지나치게 보복하였다

( "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'Because the Philistines acted in vengeance and took revenge with malice in their hearts, and with ancient hostility sought to destroy Judah,)

 

25:16 그러므로 나 주 하나님이 말한다 내가 손을 펴서 블레셋 사람들을 치고, 그렛 사람들을 없애 버리며, 바닷가에 살아 남은 사람들까지도 멸망시키겠다

( therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am about to stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Kerethites and destroy those remaining along the coast.)

 

25:17 내가 노하여 무섭게 벌하며 그들에게 크게 보복하겠다 내가 그들에게 나의 원한을 갚으면, 그 때에야 그들은 비로소, 내가 주인 줄 알 것이다"

( I will carry out great vengeance on them and punish them in my wrath. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I take vengeance on them.'")

두로에 대한 심판 예언

 

26:1 제 십일년 어느 달 초하루에 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다

( In the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me:)

 

26:2 "사람아, 두로가 예루살렘을 두고 '아하, 뭇 백성의 관문이 부서지고, 성의 모든 문이 활짝 열렸구나 예루살렘이 황무지가 되었으니, 이제는 내가 번영하게 되었다'고 말하였다

( "Son of man, because Tyre has said of Jerusalem, 'Aha! The gate to the nations is broken, and its doors have swung open to me; now that she lies in ruins I will prosper,')

 

26:3 그러므로 나 주 하나님이 말한다 두로야, 내가 너를 쳐서, 바다가 물결을 치며 파도를 일으키듯이, 여러 민족들이 밀려와서 너를 치게 하겠다

( therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, O Tyre, and I will bring many nations against you, like the sea casting up its waves.)

 

26:4 그들이 두로의 성벽을 무너뜨리고, 그 곳의 망대들을 허물어뜨릴 것이다 내가 그 곳에서 먼지를 말끔히 씻어 내고 맨바위만 드러나도록 하겠다

( They will destroy the walls of Tyre and pull down her towers; I will scrape away her rubble and make her a bare rock.)

 

26:5 그러면 두로가 바다 가운데서 그물이나 말리는 곳이 될 것이다 내가 한 말이니, 그대로 될 것이다 나 주 하나님의 말이다 두로가 여러 민족에게 약탈을 당할 것이다

( Out in the sea she will become a place to spread fishnets, for I have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD. She will become plunder for the nations,)

 

26:6 해변에 있는 두로의 성읍들도 칼에 죽을 것이다 그 때에야 그들이 비로소, 내가 주인 줄 알 것이다

( and her settlements on the mainland will be ravaged by the sword. Then they will know that I am the LORD.)

 

26:7 나 주 하나님이 말한다 내가 왕들 가운데 으뜸가는 왕, 바빌로니아 왕 느부갓네살을 북쪽에서 데려다가 두로를 치겠다 그가 말과 병거와 기병과 군대와 많은 백성을 이끌고 올 것이다

( "For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: From the north I am going to bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses and chariots, with horsemen and a great army.)

 

26:8 네 땅에 자리잡고 있는 네 딸 성읍들을 그가 칼로 죽일 것이다 그가 너를 치려고 높은 사다리를 세운다 너를 공격하려고 흙 언덕을 쌓고, 방패를 갖춘다

( He will ravage your settlements on the mainland with the sword; he will set up siege works against you, build a ramp up to your walls and raise his shields against you.)

 

26:9 쇠망치로 네 성벽을 허물고, 갖가지 허무는 연장으로 네 망대들을 부술 것이다

( He will direct the blows of his battering rams against your walls and demolish your towers with his weapons.)

 

26:10 그의 군마들이 많아서, 너는 그들의 먼지에 묻힐 것이다 그가 마치 무너진 성읍 안으로 들어오듯이, 네 모든 성문 안으로 들어오면, 그의 기병과 병거의 바퀴 소리에 네 모든 성벽이 진동할 것이다

( His horses will be so many that they will cover you with dust. Your walls will tremble at the noise of the war horses, wagons and chariots when he enters your gates as men enter a city whose walls have been broken through.)

 

26:11 그가 말발굽으로 네 거리를 짓밟을 것이고, 칼로 네 백성을 죽일 것이며, 네 튼튼한 돌기둥들도 땅바닥에 쓰러뜨릴 것이다

( The hoofs of his horses will trample all your streets; he will kill your people with the sword, and your strong pillars will fall to the ground.)

 

26:12 그의 군인들이 너에게 와서 재산을 강탈하고, 상품들을 약탈하고, 성벽들을 허물고, 마음에 드는 집들을 무너뜨리고, 모든 석재와 목재와 흙덩이까지도 바다 속으로 집어 던질 것이다

( They will plunder your wealth and loot your merchandise; they will break down your walls and demolish your fine houses and throw your stones, timber and rubble into the sea.)

 

26:13 내가, 네 모든 노랫소리를 그치게 하며, 네 수금 소리가 다시는 들리지 않게 하겠다

( I will put an end to your noisy songs, and the music of your harps will be heard no more.)

 

26:14 내가 너를 맨바위로 만들겠고, 너는 그물이나 말리는 곳이 되고, 다시는 아무도 너를 새로 짓지 못할 것이다 내가 한 말이니, 그대로 될 것이다 나 주 하나님의 말이다

( I will make you a bare rock, and you will become a place to spread fishnets. You will never be rebuilt, for I the LORD have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD.)

 

26:15 나 주 하나님이 두로를 두고 말한다 네가 쓰러지는 소리가 들리고, 네 한가운데서 부상 당한 자들이 신음하고, 놀라운 살육이 저질러질 때에, 섬들이 진동하지 않을 수 있겠느냐?

( "This is what the Sovereign LORD says to Tyre: Will not the coastlands tremble at the sound of your fall, when the wounded groan and the slaughter takes place in you?)

 

26:16 그 때에는 해변 주민의 왕들이 그들의 왕좌에서 내려오고, 그들의 왕복을 벗고, 수 놓은 옷들도 벗어 버릴 것이다 그들은 두려움에 사로잡혀 땅바닥에 앉아서, 때도 없이 떨며, 너 때문에 놀랄 것이다

( Then all the princes of the coast will step down from their thrones and lay aside their robes and take off their embroidered garments. Clothed with terror, they will sit on the ground, trembling every moment, appalled at you.)

 

26:17 그들은 너를 두고 애가를 지어 부를 것이다 너 항해자들이 머물던 성읍아, 네가 어쩌다가 이렇게 망하였느냐, 그렇게도 이름을 날리던 성읍, 바다에서 세력을 떨치던 그 성읍, 그 주민과 그 성읍이, 온 육지를 떨게 하지 않았던가!

( Then they will take up a lament concerning you and say to you: "'How you are destroyed, O city of renown, peopled by men of the sea! You were a power on the seas, you and your citizens; you put your terror on all who lived there.)

 

26:18 오늘 네가 쓰러지니, 섬들이 떨고 있다 바다에 있는 섬들이, 네 종말을 지켜 보며 놀라고 있다

( Now the coastlands tremble on the day of your fall; the islands in the sea are terrified at your collapse.')

 

26:19 나 주 하나님이 말한다 내가 너를, 사람이 살지 않는 성읍처럼, 황폐한 성읍으로 만들고, 깊은 물결을 네 위로 끌어올려서 많은 물이 너를 덮어 버리게 하고,

( "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When I make you a desolate city, like cities no longer inhabited, and when I bring the ocean depths over you and its vast waters cover you,)

 

26:20 너를, 구덩이로 내려가는 사람들과 함께 내려가 옛날에 죽은 사람들에게로 가게 하겠다 그리고 내가 너를, 구덩이로 내려간 사람들과 함께 저 아래 깊은 땅 속, 태고적부터 황폐하여진 곳으로 들어가서 살게 하여, 네가 다시는 이전 상태로 회복되거나 사람들이 사는 땅에서 한 모퉁이를 차지하지 못하게 하겠다

( then I will bring you down with those who go down to the pit, to the people of long ago. I will make you dwell in the earth below, as in ancient ruins, with those who go down to the pit, and you will not return or take your place in the land of the living.)

 

26:21 내가 너를 완전히 멸망시켜서 없애 버리겠다 사람들이 너를 찾아도, 다시는 영원히 만날 수 없을 것이다 나 주 하나님의 말이다"

( I will bring you to a horrible end and you will be no more. You will be sought, but you will never again be found, declares the Sovereign LORD.")

두로에 대한 애가

 

27:1 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다

( The word of the LORD came to me:)

 

27:2 "너 사람아, 두로를 두고 애가를 불러라

( "Son of man, take up a lament concerning Tyre.)

 

27:3 저 바다 어귀에 자리잡고 해안 민족들과 무역하는 자야, 나 주 하나님이 하는 말을 들어 보아라 두로야, 너는 스스로 말하기를 너는 흠없이 아름답다고 하였다

( Say to Tyre, situated at the gateway to the sea, merchant of peoples on many coasts, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'You say, O Tyre, "I am perfect in beauty.")

 

27:4 네 경계선들이 바다의 한가운데 있고, 너를 만든 사람들이 너를 흠없이 아름다운 배로 만들었다

( Your domain was on the high seas; your builders brought your beauty to perfection.)

 

27:5 스닐 산의 잣나무로 네 옆구리의 모든 판자를 만들고, 레바논의 산에서 난 백향목으로 네 돛대를 만들었다

( They made all your timbers of pine trees from Senir; they took a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.)

 

27:6 바산의 상수리나무로 네 노를 만들었고, 키프로스 섬에서 가져 온 회양목에 상아로 장식하여, 네 갑판을 만들었다

( Of oaks from Bashan they made your oars; of cypress wood from the coasts of Cyprus they made your deck, inlaid with ivory.)

 

27:7 이집트에서 가져 온 수 놓은 모시로 네 돛을 만들고, 그것으로 네 기를 삼았다 엘리사 섬에서 가져 온 푸른 색과 자주색 베는, 너의 차일이 되었다

( Fine embroidered linen from Egypt was your sail and served as your banner; your awnings were of blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah.)

 

27:8 시돈과 아르왓 주민이 너의 노를 저었다 두로야, 너의 노련한 이들이 네 선장이 되었다

( Men of Sidon and Arvad were your oarsmen; your skilled men, O Tyre, were aboard as your seamen.)

 

27:9 그발의 장로들과 지혜 있는 사람들이 배의 틈을 막아 주었다 바다의 모든 배와 선원들이 네 안에서 너의 물품들을 거래하였다

( Veteran craftsmen of Gebal were on board as shipwrights to caulk your seams. All the ships of the sea and their sailors came alongside to trade for your wares.)

 

27:10 페르시아와 리디아와 리비야의 용병들이 네 군대에 들어와 전사가 되었다 그들이 배 안에 방패와 투구를 걸어 놓아, 그들마저도 네 영화를 빛냈다

( "'Men of Persia, Lydia and Put served as soldiers in your army. They hung their shields and helmets on your walls, bringing you splendor.)

 

27:11 아르왓 사람들과 네 군대가 네 사면 성벽 위에 있고, 용사들이 네 망대들 속에 있어서, 네 사면 성벽에 그들의 방패를 걸어 놓았으니, 그들마저도 네 아름다움을 온전하게 하였다

( Men of Arvad and Helech manned your walls on every side; men of Gammad were in your towers. They hung their shields around your walls; they brought your beauty to perfection.)

 

27:12 너에게는 온갖 물건이 많기 때문에 스페인이 너와 무역을 하였다 그들은 은과 쇠와 주석과 납을 가지고 와서 너의 물품들과 바꾸어 갔다

( "'Tarshish did business with you because of your great wealth of goods; they exchanged silver, iron, tin and lead for your merchandise.)

 

27:13 야완과 두발과 메섹이 바로 너와 거래한 사람들이다 그들이 노예와 놋그릇들을 가지고 와서, 네 상품들과 바꾸어 갔다

( "'Greece, Tubal and Meshech traded with you; they exchanged slaves and articles of bronze for your wares.)

 

27:14 도갈마 족속은 부리는 말과 군마와 노새를 끌고 와서, 네 물품들과 바꾸어 갔다

( "'Men of Beth Togarmah exchanged work horses, war horses and mules for your merchandise.)

 

27:15 드단 사람들도 너와 거래한 사람들이다 많은 섬이 너와 무역을 하였다 그들은 상아와 흑단을 가져다가, 물건 값으로 네게 지불하였다

( "'The men of Rhodes traded with you, and many coastlands were your customers; they paid you with ivory tusks and ebony.)

 

27:16 네가 물품이 많기 때문에, 시리아도 너와 무역을 하였다 남보석과 자주색 베와 수 놓은 천과 가는 베와 산호와 홍보석을 가지고 와서, 네 물품들과 바꾸어 갔다

( "'Aram did business with you because of your many products; they exchanged turquoise, purple fabric, embroidered work, fine linen, coral and rubies for your merchandise.)

 

27:17 유다와 이스라엘 땅 사람들도 너와 거래를 하였다 그들은 민닛에서 생산한 밀과 과자와 꿀과 기름과 유향을 가지고 와서, 네 물품들과 바꾸어 갔다

( "'Judah and Israel traded with you; they exchanged wheat from Minnith and confections, honey, oil and balm for your wares.)

 

27:18 너는 물건이 많고, 생산한 물품도 많기 때문에, 다마스쿠스도 헬본의 포도주와 자하르의 양 털을 가지고 와서, 너와 무역을 하였다

( "'Damascus, because of your many products and great wealth of goods, did business with you in wine from Helbon and wool from Zahar.)

 

27:19 워단과 야완도 우잘에서 쇠와 계피와 창포를 가지고 와서, 네 물품들과 바꾸어 갔다

( "'Danites and Greeks from Uzal bought your merchandise; they exchanged wrought iron, cassia and calamus for your wares.)

 

27:20 드단은 말을 탈 때에, 안장에 깔아 놓는 천을 가지고 와서, 네 물품들과 바꾸어 갔다

( "'Dedan traded in saddle blankets with you.)

 

27:21 아라비아 사람들과 게달의 모든 지도자가, 너와 무역을 하였는데, 새끼 양과 숫양과 숫염소들을 가지고 와서, 무역을 하였다

( "'Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your customers; they did business with you in lambs, rams and goats.)

 

27:22 스바와 라아마의 상인들도 너와 거래를 하였다 그들이 최상품의 각종 향료와 각종 보석과 황금을 가지고 와서, 네 물품들과 바꾸어 갔다

( "'The merchants of Sheba and Raamah traded with you; for your merchandise they exchanged the finest of all kinds of spices and precious stones, and gold.)

 

27:23 하란과 간네와 에덴과 스바와 앗시리아와 길맛 상인들이 너와 거래를 하였다

( "'Haran, Canneh and Eden and merchants of Sheba, Asshur and Kilmad traded with you.)

 

27:24 그들은 화려한 의복과, 청색 겉옷과, 수 놓은 옷감과, 다채로운 양탄자와, 단단히 꼰 밧줄을 가지고 와서, 네 물품들과 바꾸어 갔다

( In your marketplace they traded with you beautiful garments, blue fabric, embroidered work and multicolored rugs with cords twisted and tightly knotted.)

 

27:25 다시스의 배들도 네 물품들을 싣고 항해하였다 너는 화물선에 무겁게 물건을 가득 싣고 바다 한가운데로 나갔다

( "'The ships of Tarshish serve as carriers for your wares. You are filled with heavy cargo in the heart of the sea.)

 

27:26 너의 선원들이 너를 데리고 바다 깊은 데로 나갔을 때에, 동풍이 바다 한가운데서 너를 파선시켰다

( Your oarsmen take you out to the high seas. But the east wind will break you to pieces in the heart of the sea.)

 

27:27 네가 멸망하는 날에 재물과, 상품과, 무역품과, 네 선원과, 네 선장과, 배의 틈을 막아 주는 사람과, 무역품을 거래하는 사람과, 배에 탄 모든 군인과, 배에 탄 사람들이 모두 바다 한가운데에 빠진다

( Your wealth, merchandise and wares, your mariners, seamen and shipwrights, your merchants and all your soldiers, and everyone else on board will sink into the heart of the sea on the day of your shipwreck.)

 

27:28 네 선장들의 울부짖는 소리에 해변 땅이 진동한다

( The shorelands will quake when your seamen cry out.)

 

27:29 노 젓는 사람이 모두 배에서 내린다 선원들과, 사람들이 모두 뭍으로 올라와서,

( All who handle the oars will abandon their ships; the mariners and all the seamen will stand on the shore.)

 

27:30 파선된 너를 애석해 하면서, 큰소리로 목놓아 울고, 비통하게 울부짖는다 머리에 티끌을 끼얹으며, 재 속에서 뒹군다

( They will raise their voice and cry bitterly over you; they will sprinkle dust on their heads and roll in ashes.)

 

27:31 네 죽음을 애도하여, 그들이 머리를 빡빡 밀고 굵은 베 옷을 입으며, 너 때문에 마음이 아파 울고 슬피 통곡할 것이다

( They will shave their heads because of you and will put on sackcloth. They will weep over you with anguish of soul and with bitter mourning.)

 

27:32 그들이 너를 애도하여 애가를 부르며, 네 죽음을 이렇게 슬퍼할 것이다 바다 한가운데서 두로처럼 파멸된 사람이 누구냐?

( As they wail and mourn over you, they will take up a lament concerning you: "Who was ever silenced like Tyre, surrounded by the sea?")

 

27:33 네가 무역품을 싣고 여러 바다로 나갈 때에, 너는 여러 백성을 충족시켜 주었다 네 많은 재물과 무역품으로 세상의 왕들을 풍부하게 만들어 주었다

( When your merchandise went out on the seas, you satisfied many nations; with your great wealth and your wares you enriched the kings of the earth.)

 

27:34 그러나 이제 네가 파선되어, 깊은 바다에 잠기니, 네 무역품과 너와 함께 있는 선원이 너와 함께 깊이 빠져 버렸다

( Now you are shattered by the sea in the depths of the waters; your wares and all your company have gone down with you.)

 

27:35 섬에 사는 사람들이 네 소식을 듣고 놀라며, 그들의 왕들이 크게 두려워하여 얼굴에 수심이 가득했다

( All who live in the coastlands are appalled at you; their kings shudder with horror and their faces are distorted with fear.)

 

27:36 뭇 민족의 상인들이 너를 비웃는다 멸망이 너를 덮쳤으니, 너는 이제 아무것도 아니다"

( The merchants among the nations hiss at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.'")

두로 왕에 대한 심판 예언

 

28:1 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다

( The word of the LORD came to me:)

 

28:2 "사람아, 두로의 통치자에게 전하여라 나 주 하나님이 이렇게 말한다 너의 마음이 교만해져서 말하기를 너는 네가 신이라고 하고 네가 바다 한가운데 신의 자리에 앉아 있다고 하지만, 그래서, 네가 마음 속으로 신이라도 된듯이 우쭐대지만, 너는 사람이요, 신이 아니다

( "Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'In the pride of your heart you say, "I am a god; I sit on the throne of a god in the heart of the seas." But you are a man and not a god, though you think you are as wise as a god.)

 

28:3 너는, 다니엘보다 더 슬기롭다 아무리 비밀스러운 것이라도 네게 드러나지 않는 것이 없다

( Are you wiser than Daniel? Is no secret hidden from you?)

 

28:4 너는 지혜와 총명으로 재산을 모았으며, 네 모든 창고에 금과 은을 쌓아 놓았다

( By your wisdom and understanding you have gained wealth for yourself and amassed gold and silver in your treasuries.)

 

28:5 너는, 무역을 해도 큰 지혜를 가지고 하였으므로, 네 재산을 늘렸다 그래서 네 재산 때문에 네 마음이 교만해졌다

( By your great skill in trading you have increased your wealth, and because of your wealth your heart has grown proud.)

 

28:6 그러므로 나 주 하나님이 말한다 네가 마음 속으로 신이라도 된듯이 우쭐대니,

( "'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'Because you think you are wise, as wise as a god,)

 

28:7 내가 이제 이방 사람들 가운데서도 가장 잔인한 외국 사람들을 데려다가, 너를 치게 하겠다 그들이 칼을 빼서 네 지혜로 성취한 아름다운 상품을 파괴하고, 네 영화를 더럽힐 것이다

( I am going to bring foreigners against you, the most ruthless of nations; they will draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom and pierce your shining splendor.)

 

28:8 그들이 너를 구덩이에 내던지면, 너는 맞아 죽는 사람처럼 바다 한가운데서 죽을 것이다

( They will bring you down to the pit, and you will die a violent death in the heart of the seas.)

 

28:9 너를 죽이는 사람들 앞에서도 네가 신이라고 네가 감히 말할 수 있겠느냐? 네가 사람들의 손에 찔려 죽을 것이다 너는 사람이요 신이 아니다

( Will you then say, "I am a god," in the presence of those who kill you? You will be but a man, not a god, in the hands of those who slay you.)

 

28:10 네가 외국 사람들의 손에 할례 받지 못한 사람과 같이 죽을 것이다 내가 말하였기 때문이다 나 주 하나님의 말이다"

( You will die the death of the uncircumcised at the hands of foreigners. I have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD.'")

 

두로 왕에 대한 애가

 

28:11 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다

( The word of the LORD came to me:)

 

28:12 "사람아, 너는 두로 왕을 두고 애가를 불러라 너는 그에게 전하여라 '나 주 하나님이 말한다 너는 정교하게 만든 도장이었다 지혜가 충만하고 흠잡을 데 없이 아름다운 도장이었다

( "Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.)

 

28:13 너는 옛날에 하나님의 동산 에덴에서 살았다 너는 온갖 보석으로 네 몸을 치장하였다 홍보석과 황보석과 금강석과 녹주석과 홍옥수와 벽옥과 청옥과 남보석과 취옥과 황금으로 너의 몸을 치장하였다 네가 창조되던 날에 이미 소구와 비파도 준비되어 있었다

( You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared.)

 

28:14 나는 그룹을 보내어, 너를 지키게 하였다 너는 하나님의 거룩한 산에 살면서, 불타는 돌들 사이를 드나들었다

( You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones.)

 

28:15 너는 창조된 날부터, 모든 행실이 완전하였다 그런데 마침내 네게서 죄악이 드러났다

( You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.)

 

28:16 물건을 사고 파는 일이 커지고 바빠지면서 너는 폭력과 사기를 서슴지 않았다 그래서 내가 너를 더럽게 여겨, 하나님의 거룩한 산에서 쫓아냈다 너를 지키는 그룹이, 너를 불타는 돌들 사이에서 추방시켰다

( Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones.)

 

28:17 너는 네 미모를 자랑하다가 마음이 교만하여졌고, 네 영화를 자랑하다가 지혜가 흐려졌다 그래서 내가 너를 땅바닥에 쓰러뜨려 왕들 앞에 구경거리가 되게 하였다

( Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.)

 

28:18 너는 죄를 많이 짓고 부정직하게 무역을 함으로써, 네 성소들을 더럽혔다 그러므로 내가 네 한가운데 불을 질러 너를 삼키도록 하였으며, 너를 구경하는 모든 사람의 눈 앞에서, 네가 땅바닥의 재가 되도록 하였다

( By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching.)

 

28:19 뭇 민족 가운데서 너를 아는 모든 사람이 네 모습을 보고 깜짝 놀랐다 멸망이 너를 덮쳤으니, 이제 너는 아무것도 아니다'"

( All the nations who knew you are appalled at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.'")

 

시돈에 대한 심판 예언

 

28:20 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다

( The word of the LORD came to me:)

 

28:21 "사람아, 너는 얼굴을 돌려 시돈을 바라보고, 그 성읍을 규탄하여 예언을 하여라

( "Son of man, set your face against Sidon; prophesy against her)

 

28:22 너는 전하여라 '나 주 하나님이 말한다 시돈아, 내가 너를 치겠다 내가 네 가운데서 내 영광을 드러내겠다 내가 너를 심판하고, 내가 거룩함을 네 가운데서 나타낼 때에야 비로소 사람들이 내가 주인 줄 알 것이다

( and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'I am against you, O Sidon, and I will gain glory within you. They will know that I am the LORD, when I inflict punishment on her and show myself holy within her.)

 

28:23 내가 네게 전염병을 보내고, 너의 거리에 피가 냇물처럼 흐르게 하겠다 사방에서 적들이 몰려와서 칼로 너를 치면, 사람들이 네 한가운데서 쓰러질 것이다 그 때에야 비로소 그들이, 내가 주인 줄 알게 될 것이다'"

( I will send a plague upon her and make blood flow in her streets. The slain will fall within her, with the sword against her on every side. Then they will know that I am the LORD.)

 

이스라엘이 복을 받을 것이다

 

28:24 "이스라엘 족속을 멸시하는 사방의 모든 사람이, 다시는 이스라엘을 가시로 찌르거나 아프게 하지 않을 것이다 그 때에야 비로소 그들이, 내가 주인 줄을 알 것이다"

( "'No longer will the people of Israel have malicious neighbors who are painful briers and sharp thorns. Then they will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.)

 

28:25 주 하나님께서 이렇게 말씀하신다 "내가 이스라엘 족속을 그들이 흩어져 살던 여러 민족 가운데서 모아 오고, 이방 사람들이 보는 앞에서 내가 거룩한 하나님임을 그들에게 나타낼 때에, 그들이 자기들의 땅, 곧 내가 내 종 야곱에게 준 땅에서 살게 될 것이다

( "'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When I gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered, I will show myself holy among them in the sight of the nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob.)

 

28:26 그들이 집을 짓고, 포도나무를 심고, 평안히 그 땅에서 살 것이다 내가, 그들을 멸시하는 사람들을 모두 심판하면, 그들이 평안히 살 것이다 그 때에야 비로소 그들이, 나 주가 자기들의 하나님임을 알게 될 것이다"

( They will live there in safety and will build houses and plant vineyards; they will live in safety when I inflict punishment on all their neighbors who maligned them. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God.'")
